Ron Fernandez earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1981. Ron is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario, the Project Management Institute and certified by the Canadian Construction Association as a Gold Seal Project Manager.
Ron has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry in progressively responsible roles as Project Engineer, Project Engineering Manager, Contracts Manager and Project Manager. Ron has focused his career in on-site construction project management of civil works for airports, roadwork, bridge rehabilitation, demolition, heavy civil engineering and municipal infrastructure.
He has been retained by consulting engineers and contractors to manage and administer the construction of large scale civil engineering projects, most recently as the Project Manager of all civil works for the Construction Managers of the Lester B. Pearson Terminal Development Project Phase 1 and 2.
Since joining Revay in 2006, Ron has assisted facility owners, contractors, subcontractors and their legal counsel in quantifying claims and resolving disputes and delivering workshops and seminars on a wide range of subjects related to project management and claims preparation.
