Sandra Burnell BES, BARCH, OAA, MRAIC, IAAE

Sandra Burnell, née Gilverson, is a registered Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects. She received her Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES), Pre-Professional Architecture from the University of Waterloo in 1982 followed by her Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Waterloo , 1986.

Sandra has over 24 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked both in the private and public sectors. She is experienced in owner and client relations, project planning, proposal development, scope definition and project management, as well as Commissioning and QA/QC management for the new $2.1 billion terminal at Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto . Her responsibilities have included budget and cost control, along with the refinement of project tracking tools, document distribution and occupancy turnovers. Sandra is proficient in the use of various computer software, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, P-3 Primavera and Access.

Since joining Revay in 2006, in addition to providing project management services, Sandra has become proficient in the area of risk management, as well as the preparation of claims. She has presented at numerous conferences and co-hosts an annual claims management course for the Ontario General Contractors Association.
