Catherine Solecki obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Building Engineering from Concordia University in 1989. Since then, Catherine went on to work with major general contractors, both in Canada and in the US, specializing in building construction.
As a Senior Consultant with Revay, she is responsible for the preparation of complex construction claims, for providing project management and scheduling services, as well as contract administration support.
Throughout her career, Catherine has worked on a variety of complex projects focused primarily on medium and large-scale commercial building construction and has successfully navigated significant engineering and construction challenges. She has provided technical and program leadership for projects built under tight schedules and complex logistical challenges.
Her construction management experience includes extensive on-site presence for most projects, pre-construction/estimating efforts, writing and awarding of owner and subcontractor contracts, change and risk management, conflict resolution, value engineering, permitting, IDPH/CON coordination for healthcare work, and scheduling.
Prior to joining Revay, Catherine had also focused on project management process improvements including the development of a Company Best Practices Manual and the development of a company-wide technical training program for the construction operations staff.
