Doug Dillon joined Revay in 2018. Doug is a professional engineer with over 28 years of experience in the civil construction industry and he has led the pursuit, execution and close out of major construction projects both in Canada and overseas.

As Revay’s Director, National Capital Region and as a Senior Consultant, Doug is responsible for the preparation of complex construction claims and for providing project management and scheduling services, as well as contract administration support. He also oversees all business development and client relations activities.

Doug has worked in senior leadership roles as Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President and Operations Manager, and Vice President, Estimating and Business Development for leading Canadian construction firms developing extensive experience in all aspects of the design, construction, project controls and claims management of construction projects.

Doug’s particular areas of expertise include first principle estimating, constructability, execution and risk management of large construction projects.

Over the years, Doug has been involved in a variety of challenging projects with extensive earth, rock and concrete works on hydroelectric power, mining, water and wastewater facilities and major transportation projects. He estimated and awarded projects with varying complexity for clients such as the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, Ontario Power Generators, Design-Build and DBFOM transportation infrastructure projects. He also managed self-perform operation groups in capacity of Operations Manager or higher for civil construction from 2004 to 2018.
