Evan Thompson completed an electrical engineering degree at the University of Manitoba in 2008 and is registered as a professional engineer (P.Eng.) in both British Columbia and Manitoba. He is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
As a consultant for Revay’s Vancouver office, Evan is responsible for business development, commercial contract and risk reviews, construction claim preparation and analysis, project controls and forensic schedule analysis, cause and effect determination, labour and productivity loss calculation and damage quantification.
Evan has over 10 years of professional experience in engineering and project management with particular focus in commercial management of major infrastructure projects. This includes, among others: project delivery strategy development, RFP/contract preparation, procurement management, contract negotiation, contract administration and change management, lifecycle cost analysis, estimating and cost control, planning and scheduling, risk management and claims analysis and negotiation.
Evan also has expertise in programming, data analysis and modelling and has applied these skills to manage and automate project management and claims analysis processes.
Prior to joining Revay, Evan provided commercial project management and claims management services to a major Canadian power utility.
