Richard Nichols obtained his bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences with an option in Civil Engineering from Montreal’s École Polytechnique in 1972. He later earned an MBA from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales and an LLB from the Université de Montréal. He is both a registered professional engineer and a member of the Barreau du Québec. He is fluently bilingual.
As a Principal at Revay, Richard drafts and evaluates complex construction claims. He also prepares tender call documents for major design-build construction projects, and proposal call documents for professional engineering firms as well as for other construction professionals.
Prior to joining Revay, in 1997, Richard was active for many years in the construction industry, working in estimating, planning, and construction management capacities. His experience spans a wide variety of projects, including municipal infrastructure projects, institutional buildings, sports facilities, refineries, hydroelectric power plants, and other heavy civil works.
