Sean Tassé graduated from the École de Technologie Supérieure in 2016 and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). During his engineering training, he had the chance to deepen his technical knowledge by completing a semester of study in Singapore, at the University of Nanyang. Having always been interested in the legal field, Sean decided to diversify his skills by undertaking a part-time law degree at the Université du Québec à Montréal with the aim of completing his legal training in 2020. Sean is perfectly bilingual, speaking and writing fluently in English and French.
His background in construction engineering has provided Sean with the opportunity to gain solid experience in project management. Having started his career as an assistant project manager with one of Canada’s principal general contractors, he later held project manager positions for leading real estate developers in the Montreal region. He managed residential and mixed-use residential projects ranging in size from $12 to $400 million. Sean has also held teaching duties as a teaching assistant in the Construction Engineering Department of the École de technologie supérieure since 2016. His diverse background is helpful to Sean in his volunteer work as chairman of the board of the Association des consommateurs pour la qualité dans la construction.
His consultant role with Revay and Associates Limited allows Sean to combine his main areas of interest by applying his project management experience and legal knowledge to the field of claims and construction dispute resolution. His main duties at Revay include the evaluation and preparation of construction claims and expert reports, forensic schedule analysis, productivity and change analyses and quantum evaluation.
