Concordia University contracted for the construction of a new Science Building located in the Loyola Campus of the university in the west end of Montreal.
The new complex features 33,000 square meters of space – roughly half the size of the Henry F. Hall Building – occupying five above-ground storeys, two basement levels and a mechanical penthouse. The state-of-the-art facilities will house the Departments of Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Exercise Science, Physics and a major component of Psychology, as well as Science College, the Centre for Structural and Functional Genomics, the Centre for Studies in Behavioural Neurobiology and several smaller research centres and support facilities.
For this project, Revay and Associates was hired by the general contractor to provide scheduling services:
- Development of a work breakdown structure for project activities
- Preparation of a detailed project schedule including a network diagram
- Updating of the schedule on a regular basis indicating the effect of change notices
