Jean-François holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and has also completed accredited training in civil, commercial and labour mediation as well as civil and commercial arbitration.

As a Senior Consultant with Revay, he is responsible for the preparation of complex construction claims, for providing project management and scheduling services, as well as contract administration support. Prior to joining Revay, Jean-François held the positions of Regional Vice-President for the province of Quebec and Regional Manager of the construction division of one of Canada’s largest general and specialized contractors. He actively contributed to the company’s development by leading the negotiation of major acquisitions and contracts in the field of energy infrastructure. He also worked as Executive Vice President and Regional Director for a large Quebec company specializing in the implementation of gas distribution and supply infrastructure, the realization of road works as a general contractor and the production of asphalt and aggregates. In these positions, Jean-François was able to draw upon experience previously gained in the highway and road infrastructure industry through his roles as Director, Technical and Commercial Development, Director of Operations and Regional Director for two other large Quebec general contractors mainly active in major road works and the production of asphalt, concrete and aggregates.

Within these leading firms in the energy and construction fields, Jean-François has developed expertise in strategic planning and team management, as well as in contract, operation and budgetary management. He has been responsible for a wide range of mechanical, electrical and civil construction projects for oil refineries, reservoirs, gas liquefaction plants, waste-to-biofuel plants, pulp and paper mills, wind farms, natural gas distribution and supply networks, gas compressor stations, as well as complex road and highway projects involving both flexible and rigid pavements.
