Shawn Mimnaugh joined Revay in 2017. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Construction Engineering and Management from McGill University in 2013. He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and is fluent in both English and French.

In his role as a consultant, Shawn’s main mandates have involved the preparation and evaluation of claims and expert reports for both contractors and owners. Through these, he has developed a more specific expertise in forensic schedule and delay analyses using a diverse array of industry-recognized methodologies. His main tasks also include productivity analyses, change order evaluation and impact analyses, the quantification of damages, as well as the compilation of a contract compliance register.

Prior to joining Revay, Shawn held an industrial property management role that involved managing employees and developing operational strategies for a major renovation project. This experience provided him with an applied perspective which, combined with his advanced skills in data extraction and analysis, makes him able to rapidly appreciate all variables of a project.

Throughout his years with Revay, Shawn has been involved in a variety of civil engineering projects in Canada and abroad, including a viaduct and cable stayed bridge for a commuter rail line, the construction of the third set of locks of the Panama canal, an underground commuter rail line, HVDC power converter stations, a temporary work camp at a remote mine, an anaerobic digestion center, an education facility, a convention center, a high rise residential tower, a water treatment facility, the main access road to a remote hydroelectric dam, and a power transmission line.
