John Surabathula completed a bachelor’s in civil engineering at Osmania University in 1991. He has obtained a Project Management Professional certification (PMP) in 2018 and has been certified as a PMI Scheduling Professional (PM-SP) since 2011.
He has over 25 years of experience in construction, construction management and program management including mining, transmission, transportation, hydro, LNG and building projects.
John’s experience in heavy construction includes concrete structures, earth works, elevated road, bridge and tunnel construction, utility and underground relocation projects. He has also worked on institutional projects including government buildings and high-rise towers.
His particular area of expertise is as a schedule manager and planner. He has had hands-on experience providing support on EPCM/EPFC projects, including cost and resource loaded scheduling, earned value, delay analysis, construction claim support, and constructability review to ensure Owner’s requirements are satisfied. John also has on-site experience with project managers, construction managers, sub-contractors, clients and discipline leads.
Prior to joining Revay, John was a project controls specialist, lead planner and scheduler for one of the world’s leading publicly traded engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and project management companies.
